Note: This is not a sponsored post but simply a memorable experience for our family with the help of accommodating staff.
We have a family tradition to have simple birthday gathering at home. The foods are simple and traditional: pansit, cakes, ice cream, biko, roasted chicken, nothing fancy.
Then my sibling had a brilliant idea for a special day of our beloved matriarch.
The Experience, The Food
Our mom was surprised when my sister drag her and some of our neighbours/relatives to celebrate at Cafe Poblacion. Even our dad went along. I wish I was with them.
Through Facebook, my sister shared some photos of them enjoying the food, service, and company of each other. I wonder if they have vegetarian food in the menu. They do! I would love to have Chopsuey con Tokwa and Cream of Mushroom Soup.
Family Fiesta pagkages (A, B, and C) are for large groups; the price ranges from Php 2,500.00 to less than Php 4,000.00 which includes main course, dessert, rice, and drinks.
A friendly staff took group photos. Thanks for the great photographs I get to see who were present in my mom’s birthday which is somewhat a pre-mother’s day celebration as well. Isahang gastos na lang. 🙂
More Birthdays to Celebrate
With my family’s feedback, I would love to visit Cafe Poblacion during my vacation in the Philippines. I’m thinking of celebrating my sister’s birthday at Cafe Poblacion. The place is accessible and the food is affordable.
That’s how my mom’s birthday gone by. It was extraordinary and I knew that they all have fun.
Have you been to Cafe Poblacion? What is your favourite food in the menu?
